Creative Specialist at Xpress Super App (Oct 2023 – Apr 2024)
Collaborating with the best Xpress team was a transformative experience, marking my first hands-on engagement with a non-gaming app development team. I worked closely with Social Media Managers, Junior Designer, and PR/Communications Specialists to strategize and amplify brand presence. My role primarily involved acting as a brand guardian and delivering impactful creatives within tight budget constraints.
Key achievements include:
Streamlined cross-department collaboration with Marketing and Development teams, leveraging effective communication to align objectives.
Consistently reviewed and ensured external agencies' social media creatives adhered to brand guidelines, maintaining a unified and compelling brand identity.
Spearheaded creative initiatives to enhance brand visibility and user engagement, despite operational challenges from upper management decisions.
Delivered high-impact design solutions, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
In just six months, this journey provided a wealth of learning and growth equivalent to a year of professional development. It was a testament to the power of teamwork, innovation, and adaptability.
Why I Created This Branding Guideline
The main reason I put together this guideline was to simplify what’s in the brand book. We needed a quick reference—a handy cheat sheet—for Xpress’s branding principles. It’s perfect for sharing with external agencies and for keeping our internal designers aligned without having to dive into a 50-page brand kit every time.
And, let’s be honest, who has the energy to scroll through that much detail every single time? This guide keeps things efficient and accessible, while still staying true to the essence of Xpress.
